VIDEO: Hal Blood takes his old Winchester 94 and Remington 721 to the range
Hal dusts off his first two deer rifles and shoots them at the range for the first time in way too long, reminiscing about all the great days he had toting these guns through the big woods.
It's been 50 years since Hal has shot his first deer gun, a Winchester 94 in 30-30. It was his grandfather's gun, then his dad's, then his, and then he passed it on to his son and his grandson. That gun is almost 100 years old now. It's been almost 40 since he's shot his second deer gun, a Remington 721 in .270. In this video Hal takes these two treasures out of the safe to look them over and take them out to the range for some shooting. What a great day!
Hal Blood is reminiscing, taking a look at his first deer rifles: his grandfather's 1930's Winchester 94 he shot his first deer with, and the old Remington 721 he used to take his first buck tracking. He takes them out to the range to put some rounds through them for the first time in several decades. It's nice to shoot these old rifles and remember the memories he has hunting deer with them.
