The Big Woods Bucks Long Ranger works great with a peep or a scope. Quick-detach scope rings let you run both and change in the field, but it's important to test them to make sure they'll hold zero.
A quick detach scope mount is a great idea for switching between a peep sight for thick woods and a scope for open country. But have you ever tested it to make sure it will hold zero? In this video Scott is testing his Skinner Express QD peep-sighted base and rings with a 1-4 scope to see if it will hold zero when removed and reattached repeatedly at the range.
