I have a tip or more like a reminder to share which is specifically geared towards this time of the year but what I think will help you kill a buck next fall. Before I let you in on my thoughts I have to ask you a couple of things. Does the word physical fitness conjure up memories of pain? Did the phrase I can’t go any further or will I be able to catch this buck ever enter your mind while you are gasping for air? This is the time of the year when you might not be thinking about tracking a big buck this coming fall. Besides, it is still 7 months away right. Take it from me, a 45 year old who is in good shape physically, I am finding that those few extra pounds that I may gain during the winter come off harder during the summer the older I get. So don’t do it to yourself. Don’t be out there that first week of deer season with fresh snow, a fresh track, and a body that’s screaming HELP ME!!! It may be a simple thought but it may pay off big next fall. Besides we might just feel better, we might have enough energy to complete the honey do list before the season, we might live long enough to see our kids grow up or take our significant other on a outdoor adventure instead on laying on the couch thinking about it.
