With turkey hunting just around the corner, we’re all getting our gear ready and dreaming of the hotspot we hunted last year and will it produce this year. With hours and hours to get ready, in the end, we all seem to forget something we need on the hunt. Lets all plan ahead this year and bring a very special thing on a hunt. I’m talking about bringing your child, spouse, brother, sister, friend or the child of a friend that doesn’t hunt. Introducing more people to the sport of hunting insures stability and longevity to the sport. More importantly, you get to witness first hand, the wonderment it brings to that person. Do you remember how lucky you were to be introduced to the outdoors and hunting. I couldn’t imagine if my older brother Frank didn’t take me under his wing and invest the time he did when he really didn’t have too. Be that person that someone else needs in their life to take them hunting. Their first ventures into the woods can be scouting. The stuff seen scouting, as we all know, can be fantasy to most when it’s our everyday, in the woods reality. Just open the door, that’s all some people need and let them take it from there. We’re a dying breed and don’t forget it.
